Today my family and I came into Iron Age following finishing a funeral. The mood was obviously down, but we were trying to bond as a family over a meal. Ive been to many korean bbq places before and I would say the service here was by far anything ive ever experienced. Overall the food was amazing but options extremely limited compared to others around. We were a party of 18 and we had Chris taking care of us. That was by far one of the best servers I have ever expericed. He truly lifted the mood during our meal. Cutting up meats and explaining everything meticiously. We were unfortunately running him all over the place to grab sides and drinks. But he was laughing and polite the whole time. If you are in the area please come here. Though the menu is scarce, the service makes up for it. We will be coming back!

I actually had a pretty good time overall. The food was okay, but it definitely needed more flavor to really stand out. I did like that we got to make our own food, though—it made the whole experience more fun and interactive, and I liked being able to choose exactly what I wanted. What really stood out to me was the service. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and helpful the entire time. They made sure we understood everything and kept checking in on us, which I really appreciated and honestly made the experience a lot better. There were a couple of downsides, though. The restaurant was way too dark, which made it harder to see what we were doing while making our food. On top of that, there was a lot of smoke, which got a bit overwhelming at times and took away from the experience. I feel like with better lighting, less smoke, and more flavorful food, it would’ve been a much better visit.

This restaurant was a 10/10! We had never dined at a Korean BBQ before and it was beyond our expectations. It was my son's 16th bday and we had a great experience. Our server was very attentive and explained our options perfectly. The restaurants decor, music and atmosphere was all perfect. All of the meats (and we tried them all) were very tender and flavorful. We enjoyed cooking right at our table and the options were endless. We will definitely be back!!!

We were a party of 2 the wait was not long they sat us right away. It was out first time being there. You get to pick the meat you want and basically you cook it your self. You can ask for rice which that's already cooked. We like more the steak and meat then th chicken. But overall everything was good and we will definitely be coming back.

Nice place (head nod looking around)! Very well appointed location, decor and furnishings. A little dark for my taste and the k-pop music a little loud but not unbearable. The food was very tasty with the beef bulgogi being the star of the night! The portions were pretty average for Korean BBQ. The rice cakes were pretty tasty and the salad was delish. The service was fair, our server was kind but tended to disappear at times but overall pretty nice service. Pricing was about $32pp for dinner and with drinks $55. Try the Lynchburg Lemonade! The restrooms were clean and nicely decorated as well. It was our first visit. We went for my daughter’s birthday but will be back.
